Oh no! More farm buildings...
It's not much by itself, just another farm building at 2,500sqft, but its grant of permission yesterday sees the end of an 18-month planning strategy within the Green Belt to unlock a little latent value held up within an established farm business...
An opportunity was identified early last year to unlock value through Class Q within an agricultural yard which could then be disposed of to release capital to reinvest in the business and grow it further.
In order to allow the business to continue, a replacement yard was also required which needed to incorporate 800m2 of polytunnels, irrigation tanks and the below building of 240m2 - all of which we obtained permission for in addition to the initial Class Q
Like Virgil being sent by Beatrice to guide Dante through the lower place, Wreyland Rural Planning were very happy to once again transcend the Local Authority's seven circles to achieve the applicant's objectives.
